Teens rebailed over shop burglaries
FIVE teenagers, who were arrested in connection with a string of shop burglaries in Battle, have been re-bailed.
The men were arrested at the end of last month as police investigated a number of break-ins to the town’s businesses, including Benji’s Coffee Shop, Gift World, Battle Dry Cleaners, COOK, Webb’s Garden and Home Store and Media South.
The five, who are all in their late teens and local to Battle, answered police bail on Wednesday.
They were re-interviewed by police and re-bailed until September 17.
