Tim Peake named nation’s hero of 2015

Tim Peake has beaten Andy Murray to be crowned the nation’s hero of 2015.

In a poll, 23 per cent of Brits voted Major Peake the winner, with tennis player Murray second (19 per cent).

The Opinium Research named Oscar Pistorius as the villain for a third year running, while 52 per cent believe there will be a new terrorist attack in the West.
