Car hits tree in Ashington
Firefighters were called to Ashington this morning (Thursday October 9) after a car struck a tree.
The incident happened just before 7.30am in Billingshurst Road.
A woman was released from the car before firefighters arrived.
The vehicle and road were made safe.
