Motorcyclist seriously injured after colliding with a deer in East Sussex
A motorcyclist is in hospital with serious injuries after colliding with a deer on North Trade Road, Netherfield yesterday (Saturday, May 27).

The incident took place just before the junction with Battle Road and, according to AA Traffic News, the B2096 was closed both ways between Netherfield Road and A271 North Trade Road as emergency services investigated the scene.
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said emergency services were called at around 2.20pm, and the rider was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The road was reopened at 4pm.
