Person airlifted to hospital after Bexhill crash
A person has been airlifted to hospital after a collision on Bexhill seafront.
The incident happened in De La Warr Parade, near Brookfield Road at Galley Hill, shortly after 10am.
The road was closed, while police and paramedics, as well as the air ambulance, attended the scene and remains closed.
The collision is understood to have involved a motorcycle and a pedestrian.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said: “We were called to reports of a collision shortly after 10am.
“Ambulance crews attended and were joined at the scene by the air ambulance service. One person has been airlifted to Royal Sussex County Hospital with injuries including a leg injury.”
Sussex Police have also been approached for comment.
