The body of Mr Gardner, 53, was found at Bush Barn Farm, off the A21 north of Robertsbridge, on October 11.

Detectives investigating his death believe this was the result of a burglary which went tragically wrong.

Mr Gardner, it is believed, disturbed an unknown number of people in the early hours of the morning forcing outbuildings where he ran an agricultural and car repair business.

The other 11 people arrested in connection with the investigation have all been released on bail pending further enquiries.
