Church Services: There are two services in St Mary’s Church on Sunday morning: Holy Communion at 8am, and the monthly Family Service for All at 11.15am (followed by refreshments in the Community Hall). Everyone will be welcome at either of (or both) these services, with or without a family.
Parish Council Meeting: At 6.30pm this Wednesday (September 17) our Udimore parish councillors will be meeting in the Hall, where they would be very glad of your support. It’s also a good way of keeping in touch with what’s going on in the village. Details of the issues to be discussed will be found in the Council’s September Newsletter , which is due to be circulated soon, either on line or by hand delivery.
Health Talk: Also on Wednesday evening, in Brede Village Hall, there will be a talk by David Walker, Senior Cardiologist at the Conquest. His title will be “Hearts Matter”, a subject of undoubted interest to us all. He’s due to start his talk at 7.30pm, but for a good seat it would be wise to get there early (from 7pm onwards), when there’ll also be a chance to meet some representatives of Rother Responders and the British Heart Foundation, who’ll be there too to answer questions. Refreshments will be served. Everyone welcome, no admission charge. This event has been arranged by the Northiam and Broad Oak Patient Participation Group.
