LOCAL GARDEN OPEN: Between 11am and 5pm tomorrow (Saturday) and at the same times on Sunday the garden of South Grange, Quickbourne Lane, Northiam will be open for the National Gardens Scheme, a second opportunity to visit this very interesting garden, with a diverse range of attractions. Any garden-lovers who weren’t able to visit it last month should try to fit in a visit sometime this weekend: you won’t be disappointed! Light refreshments will be available, followed later by home-made teas. Home-propagated plants for sale. Admission £3.50, children free. To find your way there, follow the yellow NGS signs from the centre of the village.
CHURCH SERVICES: In St Mary’s this Sunday there will be Holy Communion at 8am and Evening Prayer at 6pm.
