CHURCH SERVICE: In St Mary’s this Sunday Holy Communion will be celebrated at 8am.
MEDICAL TALK: On Wednesday (September 2), 6pm for 6.30pm, there will be an event at Rye Primary School, arranged jointly by the Patient Participation Groups of the Ferry Road Health Centre and Rye Medical Centre. Dr Lindsay Hadley FRC-GP will be speaking on “Alzheimers, all you wanted to know about dementia but were afraid to ask”.
Refreshments will be available, and all are welcome. Parking behind the school, off Love Lane.
BREDE FLOWER FESTIVAL: Please note in your diaries that for this annual event (this year on the theme “Great Events in History”) Brede Church and many stalls will be open daily next weekend, on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday. More details in this column next week.
