Close to the Heart come from Cherkassy. They are part of a larger class formed by Hope Now to learn Ukrainian folk, classical and contemporary Christian and international music.

Each one brings something special to the performance through music and dance to showcase the individual and group performance.

All are aged between 13 and 23 and will be accompanied by their teacher, Leyna Bilashenko.

The evening will also feature a multi-media presentation introduced by Baptist minister, the Rev Vic Jackopson, of the work of Hope Now with orphans, street children and the poor.

A retiring collection for Hope Now will be held.

Free tickets for the night can be reserved from the Rev Paul Kerley of the Baptist church, by sending an e-mail to: [email protected] or by phoning Tel 01243 268020.
