Unprovoked attack on boy in woods

He was approached by five youths as he was walking through woods from Uckfield to Buxted on Tuesday afternoon last week.

They shouted at him and one attacked him causing bruising and cuts to his face.

PC Katie Hurford said: 'This was an unprovoked attack as the victim was walking away from the group.

'We are aware that there were two dog walkers in the vicinity and would ask them to contact me at Uckfield police station on 0845 6070999.'

The attacker was described as a white, aged16-17, 6ft tall, with short, blond, spikey hair. He was wearing blue denim jeans but no top.
