VIDEO: Aladdin flies into Worthing on his magic carpet

WORTHING'S Pavilion Theatre is preparing to 'expect the unexpected' as it welcomes Aladdin to the stage for this year's festive pantomime.

The cast, including former Neighbour's TV star Joe Mangel '“ actor Mark Little '“ and Grange Hill's Kacey Barnfield, say Worthing residents should expect an oriental extravaganza as Aladdin, the genie, the sultan and Princess Jasmine grace the stage in this "panto party".

Mark Little, who lives in Hove, said: "It's Aladdin, it's one of the greatest pantos, it's got all the magic, the genie, and one of the greatest magicians of all time, Abanazar, and that's who I'm playing.

"This is my third pantomime in Worthing, I always have a good time in Worthing."

Other characters will include Wishee Washee, who will be performing magic tricks throughout the show and will be seen attempting to steal the genie's lamp.

Widow Twanky and children's TV favourites Noddy and Big Ears will also be there, encouraging the audience to cheer and boo.

The panto runs from December 13 to January 6 and tickets are on sale now with prices starting at 6.
