The 1,100sq ft store opened on 20th March 2014 and the village Post Office was relocated within the store that May.
The awards were presented at a special ceremony at Bishopsgate in London on March 19.
Jempsons also operate a superstore at nearby Peasmarsh and have stores at Rye, Battle and Hakhurst.
They have made donations to Northiam Bonfire Society while the Rye Bonfire Society was a beneficiary of an Easter boot sale held in the grounds of the Peasmarsh store last weekend.
Jempsons has grown to become one of the largest family owned food supermarkets in the UK since George Jempson opened a small village bakery in 1935.
