I reiterate what I put in last week: in the hope that if someone missed it, they will read it and take note now. The debriefing meeting for the flower festival has taken place. It was noted how well it had all gone despite the awful weather on the Sunday. What became very apparent is how much help we need from local people. We were a bit short this year, and the same people were trying to juggle 2 or 3 jobs. Please, Please put August Bank Holiday in your 2019 diary and offer to help. There are so many jobs one will surely suit you and you will enjoy yourself. I can guarantee that as everyone is always smiling. Please call Sue Sturmey 01424 882544 and give her your name and what you would like to help with.
