Hands of Hope Lunch Club: The first lunch will be on Monday 5th November. Come to the Hall from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm – 2 course lunch, raffle and entertainment.The charity is currently also seeking volunteers to lend a helping hand at the club – if you have a few spare hours a month please either e-mail [email protected] or phone 07968 333097 for more information.

Doctors Surgery: Tuesday 6th November between 11.30 am and 12.30 pm. This service is available to all Peasmarsh residents who are registered with the Rye Medical Centre - to book an appointment contact them on 1797 223333.

Peasmarsh Parish Council: Tuesday 6th at 7.30 pm in the Main Hall. Neighbourhood Area and Plan will be discussed. Rother District Council will shortly be consulting on a proposal to allocate a site in Peasmarsh to enable 45 new homes to be constructed as part of its Development and Site Allocations Local Plan which is in response to the Government’s housing targets.

Wednesday 14th: Flower Arranging 10.00 am to 12 noon – theme is “An exotic Arrangement”. Further details from Deirdre Bull 01797 30208.

Saturday 17th November: Peasmarsh School PTA are holding a Jumble Sale in the school hall from 10-12.

Poppies: will be on sale at Jempsons from Friday 26th October. There are still some gaps to fill, so if you would like to help by selling for a couple of hours please contact Fay Curd on 230427.

Dog Bins: Just a reminder that the dog bins in the village are there for the convenience of those walking their dogs. They do not have the capacity for those who are bringing dog poo from their own gardens – and there is some question as to whether this might be considered “fly-tipping”. However, it is now legal to put well-wrapped dog-poo into your own bin. Please do not leave bags on the paths.
