It was a great result £300 plus on the day and £100 in donations. It was so good to see people enjoying refreshments and chatting, everyone agreed it was a great atmosphere. Thanks must go to everyone who helped in anyway, many hands made the work much easier. We have been asked when is the next one? We will have to wait and see”
TRY SOMETHING NEW?: There are lots of groups and organisations around the village that would be pleased to welcome new members and volunteers. Start with the village directory or online at www.sedlescombe.org.uk if you are looking for a new interest this year.
SEDLESCOMBE FAYRE JULY 15 2017: Are you interested in being involved in the day on the sports field this year?
Sedlescombe and District Gardening society will be staging their summer show in the marquee on the day and the Friends of Sedlescombe Church will be serving the refreshments from the Sports pavilion as in 2016. Debra Veith will once again be heading up the team along with Jan Heap as treasurer and myself to help with the organisation of the day. An official secretary would be helpful to keep us all updated as we move along with more interested people to ensure that Sedlescombe has a family day to remember in 2017. So if you think you could offer some of your time and services or would like to know more then please get in touch with Debra on firstname.lastname@example.org 01424 870914.
