Services at Westfield Parish Church: on Sunday are Holy Communion at 8am and the special Mothering Sunday Family Service at 10am. Bring the family - all the children in church will be able to keep the lovely tradition of giving out posies. The weekly Lent meetings continue in the church each Wednesday at 7.30pm, so come to any meeting for praise, prayer and Bible study.

Westfield Scout Group: has their annual Duck Race on Sunday, April 2 at 1pm. As usual, the ducks will be thrown from the bridge at Forge Stream, Cottage Lane, and burgers and hot dogs will be available from 12.15pm. Please buy your lucky duck number (£1) from Scouts, Archers Butchers, or at the field on the day. There will be a special class for your own character ducks, too, with entry £2 on the day. Let’s hope for good racing conditions!

Westfield Parish Council: is very pleased to announce a new tennis coaching session for children aged 5-11 years at the village courts starting after the Easter holidays on Mondays from 5-6pm. The cost is £45 for 11 weeks, or £5 for pay and play. For more information call 07704 774017, or email info@6lovetenniscoaching.co.uk. If you might be interested in a coaching session for older children or adults, please contact the Parish Clerk on 01424 756973.
