World’s Biggest Coffee Morning: Thank you to everyone who supported this last Friday. This raised an excellent £316 for. Macmillan Cancer Care.

Barn Dance: Back by popular request! Tickets are on sale at Archers Butchers and The New Inn for the Harvest Barn Dance on Saturday 6 October. The tickets are £7.50 for adults, under 16 £5, including a harvest ploughman’s supper. The action starts at 7.30pm in the Church Hall, and proceeds will be going to Friends of Fia. ‘Wear comfortable shoes and a smile!’

Westfield Church: This Sunday 6 October is our Harvest Festival at 10am. Please bring your non-perishable harvest offerings to this service.

PURE Autumn Art Fair 2018: Westfield residents are invited to this event at Battle. The PURE Autumn Art Fair returns to the PowderMills Hotel, Battle from 11am-6pm between 6 and 14 October. This is a selected art fair showcasing the brightest upcoming and more established talent from an international open entry. It features the work of approximately fifty artists working across all fine art media including painting, drawing, printmaking, digital art, photography, sculpture, ceramics and glass. Westfield Women’s Institute: The WI meets next Friday 12 October at 2.15pm in the Church Hall. The speaker is David Hills talking about ‘Rural life - Britain on Film’, and the competition is a photo of rural life. All women are welcome. Just turn up, or contact the W.I. Westfield Horticultural Society: WHS has organised a fabulous outing on Saturday 13 October to see the wonderful gardens at RHS Wisley, leaving Westfield at 9am. The cost remains the same as last year - £16 for WHS members and £18.50 for non-members. Places need to be booked earlier as this is a popular outing. Contact Catherine - 01424 552485.

Autumn Village Tidy: Please spare an hour to help next Saturday 13 October between 10am and 12 noon. Meet at the Church Hall to register and collect Hi-Viz vest, black sacks, litter pickers and gloves. Wonderful free refreshments provided!

Messy Church: It’s Messy Church time again! Fun packed Church in the Church Hall for all the family takes place next Saturday 13 October from 3-5pm. This includes art and crafts, media, music, drama, and food!

Tea Party for Senior Residents: The WCA tea party for senior residents of the village will take place Saturday 13 October in the Community Hall from 3 - 5pm. Enjoy entertainment and a delicious tea. For your free ticket please contact Rosemary 754080.
