News from Whatlington Parish Church: The service at the village church next Sunday is an 09.15 Holy Communion. Looking further ahead to the end of the month, Oct. 28th, we have a 6pm service for All Souls, this will be to remember departed loved ones.
A couple of dates further ahead looking into November are for events commemorating the centenary of the Armistice. In the evening of Nov. 17th there will be a concert by Whatlington Singers in the church, with a Remembrance theme, then on Nov. 22nd there will be a special screening of the film ‘Journey’s End’ in the church to raise money for the Combat Stress charity, more details of both events closer to the time.
