Enjoy the warm weather, rain and colder temperatures are around the corner
Sussex has been basking in the warm sunshine this week, but it looks all set to change tomorrow (Friday April 15).
People across the county and the rest of the south-east enjoyed the sunny weather yesterday as England experienced the warmest day of the year, with a high of 18.6degC recorded at Heathrow Airport.
And today has seen plenty of sunshine.
But rain and possible overnight frosts are forecast by the Met office in the next few days.
Tomorrow a band of rain is set to dampen the spirits, with the temperature dropping to around 10degC.
Saturday is set to be brighter but feeling distinctly chilly as the temperature falls to single figures.
Sunday and the start of the week are likely to be dry but the cold north or north-westerly wind will mean coats and scarves will be back in use.
Looking further ahead, the Met Office says that high pressure will continue to dominate the United Kingdom during the middle of next week.
This should bring a good deal of dry and settled weather, with variable amounts of cloud, although it is expected to be rather breezy at times in the south.
A few showers are possible, with a risk of these being heavy and thundery across southern parts at times.
Temperatures will be generally near normal during day-time, although overnight frosts are possible where skies clear.
