This week-end is very busy: with four events on tomorrow's calendar.

Westfield Horticultural Society: WHS has organised a fabulous outing tomorrow to see the wonderful gardens at RHS Wisley, leaving Westfield at 9am. The cost remains the same as last year - £16 for WHS members and £18.50 for non-members. Places need to be booked earlier as this is a popular outing. Contact Catherine on 01424 552485 find out if there are any places left.

Autumn Village Tidy: Please spare an hour to help tomorrow between 10am and 12 noon. Meet at the Church Hall to register and collect Hi-Viz vest, black sacks, litter pickers and gloves. Wonderful free refreshments provided!

Messy Church: It’s Messy Church time again! Fun packed Church in the Church Hall for all the family takes place tomorrow from 3pm-5pm. This includes art and crafts, media, music, drama, and food!

Tea Party for Senior Residents: The WCA tea party for senior residents of the village will take place tomorrow in the Community Hall from 3 - 5pm. Entertainment and a delicious tea have been arranged for the ticket holders by Rosemary and helpers, and we know that they can look forward to a lovely afternoon.

Westfield Friendship Club: The Friendship Club meets in the New Inn on Monday 15 from 2.30 – 4pm. Bingo and whist are played in a friendly atmosphere, with tea and biscuits on offer. Ring Derek Edwards for more information (01424 753155). New members are welcome.

Westfield Community Choir: Do you love to sing? Are you a secret singer? Westfield Community Choir needs you. No experience required, just enthusiasm. This new group meets on Mondays from 7-8pm in Westfield Church, with all kinds of music promised - pop, rock, folk, traditional ... All ages are welcome, and the cost is £3 adult, £2 child. Westfield Horticultural Society: The WHS AGM will be in the Bowl Club at 7pm next Wednesday 17 October. Doors open from 7pm and the meeting starts at 7.30pm. Wine, cheese, and nibbles will be served at the start of the meeting. We hope you will come and support us and give us your views about the type of society you would like.
