Alex Goodman, The Royal Oak

Film Club is tonight (Friday 13th) and we will begin showing The Dark Knight Rises at 7.30pm in The Barn at The Royal Oak. Everyone is welcome, Film Club membership is just £7.50 for the year and we show a film every month. If you have any suggestions for films or would like more information, please contact steve.messages@virgin.net .

Quiz night is every Thursday at The Royal Oak from 8pm for teams of up to six people. We also serve the usual menu throughout the evening and tend to get busy, so if you know your team is coming it’s a good idea to call 01424 870492 and let us know!

The next live music night at The Royal Oak is on Friday 27th September from 8pm when talented local musicians join together for a jamming style session of traditional Irish tunes around the bar.

The Village Hall Committee is looking for willing volunteers to join them. If you are a local resident or maybe new to the village and who would like to get more involved in village events and help raise money for the upkeep of the Village Hall, then please get in touch with Angie on 01424 870087.
