PARISH CHURCH NEWS: The Whatlington church service on the first Sunday in August will be a 9.30am Parish Communion.

I am sad to report that Whatlington church has lost former churchwarden Tom Kent, who died recently following a fall at home. Tom had served as warden for some 14 years and when he stood down in 2010 remained on our PCC, still active and taking part at 95, a remarkable man and a good friend who will be sadly missed.
Our prayers and thoughts are with Tom’s family.
