Young people get a new place to hang out
Barcombe Parish Council has opened a new youth shelter where young people can hang out and meet their friends.
The shelter is near the public footpath at the edge of Tennis Court Field which is being considered to be made into an amenity area .An ecological survey of the site is being carried out.
Funding for the youth shelter came from Viridor Credits Environmental Company, Sussex Police Joint Initiative Fund and Lewes District Council Rural Local Action Team.
