The High Places aerial adventure challenge, at The Pavilions, has been completed after months of work.

The course, open to anyone over the age of five, has been created by Place for People Leisure, who manage The Pavilions In The Park, in partnership with Horsham District Council and plays host to a series of challenges suspended from ropes in the air.

Pupils from Kingslea Primary School were invited down to try out the new adventure challenge today (Monday February 22).

The facility does not officially open until tomorrow (Tuesday February 23) however, chairman of Horsham District Council Tricia Youtan pulled open the ropes in a small ceremony this afternoon so the children could get their first taste of the long anticipated aerial challenge.

Mrs Youtan said: “The first kids who have used it are so excited and so enthusiastic.

“I think its a wonderful facility.”
