Wonderful news! At long last, no more immature one-year-old- malt whisky; no more imported apple juice concentrate, fermented overnight with saccharine and masquerading as proper winter-pressed cyder, matured in old oak whisky barrels.
Then I read the small print: ‘...under-age drinkers’. Ah!
It’s enough to turn an old man to drink. Now, where’s my flagon of ‘Bob Luck’?
