I don’t want to be in this club

For over 40 years you the tax-payer, under EU rules, have been paying Spanish farmers to raise bulls for bull-fighting.

Most of us have been unaware that our money has been supporting this barbaric, cruel event but it is one small example of the depths of depravity that this European Union has enjoyed.

At last, most of the MEPs in the EU Parliament have come round to civilised respectability and voted 438 out of 687 for the amendment that should stop the 100 million euro agricultural subsidy that supports this barbarism.

However, note that there are still 249 MEPs that support the bull-fighting.

Do we want to be in the same EU club as these people?

Well I don’t and the sooner we divorce ourselves from this failing, political experiment the better for Britain’s civilised influence in the world coupled with the knowledge that our own parliament will decide where our precious, clean money is spent.
