Never a truer word spoken

From: Stephen Hardy, George Close, Robertsbridge

On the same day that Parliament rejected amendments to the Article 50 bill which would have protected the three million EU citizens who live and work in this country and keep especially in the South East, our economy and health services functioning, and which would also have properly protected parliamentary sovereignty, a key mantra of the Leave campaign, Theresa May was forced to comment on another referendum, the Scottish independence one.

Note carefully what she said about constitutional referenda:

“It sets Scotland on a course for more uncertainty and division, creating huge uncertainty.”

Substitute the United Kingdom for Scotland in that sentence and never a truer word would have been said by the PM.
