The TeamGym British Championships took place in Stoke-on-Trent. The gymnasts began their competition with their floor exercise and earned their highest ever apparatus score of 17.716.

They made a few mistakes on tumble, but earned a respectable 12.850. Their final routine on trampette, comprised almost entirely of impressive double rotation somersaults and vaults with twists, earned them 14.350. They finished with a total of 44.916 to become the senior men’s TeamGym British champions.

Head coach Matte Hart said: “This is definitely the strongest team we have produced, and we now look forward to taking them to European competitions and training camps.”

The 1066 Titans team members will travel to Dundee for a top level training camp hosted by a coaching team from Sweden. They’re also looking for sponsors to help them access more camps and competitions across Europe. Email [email protected]
