Yardy, whose talent was forged with Battle and Hastings Priory, is sidelined after tearing a bicep muscle during the NatWest T20 Blast match against Glamorgan last Friday.

The all-rounder will be out of action for approximately four weeks for LV County Championship cricket, after which time he will hopefully be able to return as a batsman, but it will be longer before he is able to bowl again.
