Easier riding thanks to bridleway repairs

Horseriders in Pulborough can look forward to smooth ride now after one of the area's bridle paths was restored.

The two-day project was completed by the Sussex Downs Conservation Society and means the route near Toat Lane will link up with another path near the Bedham Hills area, making a round route.

Jan Botting, a regular horserider in the area said: "Nearly everyone has a horse round here and it will be really well-used. Before there were lots of hoof marks and now it is very smooth and almost like a carpet. It makes a nice route and the conservation board have done some super work."

The project was funded by Pulborough Parish Council and the Sussex Downs Conservaton Board.
