1,000 young footballers set to descend on Chichester

Chichester City FC's big youth six-a-side tournament takes place this weekend.

There’ll be action throughout Saturday and Sunday at the Chichester High School for Boys pitches.

A wide range of teams will be there, ranging from under-sevens to under-16s.

Chairman Keith Tallent said: “This year’s tournament will be our ninth annual six-a-side youth yournament and this year’s is sponsored by COVERS.

“There are 126 teams (more than 1,000 young players) attending from all over the south. We look forward to welcoming the teams to our city and playing hosts to our guests.”
