Elsewhere in the division, Little Common and Westfield both suffered 3-1 defeats at home to Oakwood and Haywards Heath Town respectively despite taking the lead.

Martin Denny put Common ahead, but Ben Jenner levelled for Oakwood before half time and the visitors struck twice after the break to complete the turnaround. Darren Tidy scored from the penalty spot and Sam Cane’s effort deflcted in off Jerome Smith.

Westfield opened the scoring through a cracking free kick by Jethro Warren only for Heath to go in level at the interval via Naim Rouane. Jamie Wanstall and Mark Fiest sealed the points for Heath as the game got away from Westfield after the restart.
