Harry Redknapp has named a Brighton & Hove Albion hero in his Premier League team of the season.
Albion’s best league season in their 122-year history saw them achieve European football for the first time ever.
The Seagulls finished sixth, with 62 points from 38 games, to book their place in next season’s UEFA Europa League group stage.

But, with so many stand outs, which Brighton player made the Premier League team of the season?
5. Ben Mee - Brentford
Redknapp said: "It may not have been a flashy signing, but Ben Mee was one of the signings of the season. He’s so experienced and has been top-class for Brentford in what’s been such a great year for Thomas Frank’s side. Ben is a proper defender and has defensive instincts that you can’t teach. His positioning and sense of danger in the box is superb." Photo: Catherine Ivill/Getty Images
6. Pervis Estupiñán - Brighton & Hove Albion
Redknapp said: "Picking one Brighton player was difficult! Caicedo, Mac Allister, Mitoma, some top performers. I’m going with Pervis Estupiñán though. He’s been as good as any left-back in the league this season, really impressive considering it’s his first year at the club. To sell Cucurella and replace him with this fella whilst making a profit, fantastic business by the club." Photo: Julian Finney/Getty Images
7. Casemiro - Manchester United
Redknapp said: "First up in midfield, Casemiro. What a signing he’s been for United, he’s transformed that team. This lad has won it all in the game and his experience and winning mentality has really rubbed off on this side. Every credit to him, he’s arrived in English football and instantly got stuck in and tried to improve the club, there’s been plenty of high-profile players down the years that have struggled. With United back in the Champions League next season, they’ll be relying on him again." Photo: Alex Livesey/Getty Images
8. Martin Ødegaard - Arsenal
Redknapp said: "There’s been plenty of top Arsenal performers, but Martin Ødegaard has been the key in my eyes. He’s always been such a talented, classy footballer but this year, I feel like he really came of age. He really led his side and was constantly creating chances and scored some big goals as they challenged City at the top of the league. I love watching him play." Photo: Clive Rose/Getty Images
