Crawley Town's trip to Carlisle United postponed due to frozen pitch

Crawley Town’s Sky Bet League Two fixture against Carlisle United, due to take place tomorrow, has been postponed due to a frozen pitch at Brunton Park.

The decision was made before the Reds departed The People’s Pension Stadium.

A referee attended Brunton Park this afternoon to carry out a pitch inspection where it was concluded that the playing surface was frozen and therefore unsafe to play on.

The fixture will be rescheduled in due course.
