EP manager Dominic Di Paola went up to watch his side’s opponents on Tuesday evening as they beat league leaders South Park 1-0.

He said: “They’re doing okay in their league and beat the team that was second on Saturday and have picked up after losing their first few league games.

“I suppose it’s a winnable one. I have watched a lot of Combined Counties football and it’s very much about what side turns up on the day, so we’ll see.

“Lee Barnard will be back, so we’ll have everyone available which gives us a bit of a selection headache, but I am not complaining about that.”

Golds will be boosted by having both Jamie Thompson and Shay Wiggans available after suspension.

Manager Mark Bennett said: “The FA Vase is always nice to play in, although they are doing quite well, so it will be a tough game.”

There is £900 prize money up for grabs for the winners of the ties, along with a place in next week’s second-round draw. Both matches are 3pm kick-offs.
