Today’s rain has left the East Court pitch waterlogged and the Ryman Football League Division One South fixture has been called-off for a second time.

It’s the eighth postponement United have endured since Christmas, all of them away from home, and their next available midweek slot isn’t until early April.

Had the game gone ahead, United would have had the chance to move into the play-off places with a victory. They currently sit one position outside the play-offs in sixth.

Elsewhere tonight, Bexhill United are due to host Langney Wanderers in Macron Store Southern Combination Football League Division One and Little Common are scheduled to visit Broadbridge Heath in a Peter Bentley Challenge Cup quarter-final.

Both of those games are due to kick-off at 7.45pm, assuming there are no late postponements.
