Hastings just about managed to clear a dangerous ball into the six yard box moments later and Dee Okojie made a brilliant run down the left before teeing up Jack Dixon. He chose not to shoot when well placed and only succeeded into dribbling the ball behind for a goal kick.

As players became tired, play became scrappy and penalites became an inevitability.
