Lyttle blast wins it for Bexhill

Bexhill United won 3-2 at home to Rye United in round one of the Hastings & District FA Senior Cup on Tuesday night.

Both clubs fielded below strength teams in the first ever senior midweek floodlit game at The Polegrove, with Rye putting out a virtual reserve side.

Kele Buay gave Rye a 12th minute lead only for two goals in four minutes from Andy Atkin and Chris Gould to put Bexhill ahead at half time.
