Pidgeley is the latest winner of the monthly ‘safe hands’ honour in the South Division following a month in which United conceded just three goals in seven games and kept five consecutive clean sheets.

The other winners are Tonbridge Angels stopper Anthony Di Bernardo in the Premier Division and Waltham Abbey goalkeeper James Pellin in the North Division.

The awards are sponsored by Nottingham-based Reydon Sports PLC, the UK’s largest sports and leisure wholesale and distribution company.

Through their Precision Goalkeeping brand, the goalkeepers can all look forward to receiving a pair of Precision Goalkeeping gloves provided by ProKit UK, the nominated retailer administering the awards on their behalf.

Former United goalkeeper Josh Pelling, now at Horsham, won the January award for the South Division.
