HOW TO PLAY GOLF - PART ONE

WHAT RELEVANCE does how you tune your stereo have to how you learn about golf? If you ask Jonathan Groves from the Cranfield Golf Academy at Rustington, it is a clue as to what is the best method of assimilating the information that makes you a better golfer.

My having had only a round or two in the past 10 years, Jonathan felt I had enough experience to take an assessment and see where the two of us needed to go with my game. Telling me that there was a better golfer inside everyone, he explained that people feel, look or hear to learn '“ evidently I will learn most through hearing.

After asking me about my experience (limited) and my expectations (not high, but achievable), Jonathan went on to state his aim for everyone to play better sub-conscious golf and take one thing at a time. There were technique questions, too '“ How did I rate my driving, putting etc '” and then it was onto the range where I fully expected to make a fool of myself.
