MARK STEPS INTO BREACH

FORMER Eastbourne rider Mark Loram returns to ride for the Eagles tonight (Friday) in their Elite League speedway match at Arlington, 7.30pm.

Loram, who now rides for Ipswich, will take the place of Nicki Pedersen who is riding in this weekend's Czech Grand Prix.

Pedersen is in third position in the standings but is coming under increasing pressure for the final rostrum place.

Loram will fill the No 5 berth for Eastbourne against Wolverhampton, who will be led by Arlington track expert, Peter Karlsson.

Eastbourne will hope to continue the better form they showed against Poole.
