It was the fifth consecutive year and visitors were able to enjoy blazing sunshine while admiring an impressive array of vintage tractors and farm machinery and viewing heavy horses at work.

A huge number of attractions included birds of prey, miniature steam engines, country craft demonstrations, tractor rides, vintage vehicles and motorcycles and historic military vehicles.

There were over 50 stalls ranging from those selling delicious hot food, sweets and chutneys to charity stands, craft stalls and plant sales.

Danielle Free, from Pestalozzi said: “Hundreds of people came along to the event. Pestalozzi would like to thank all those who dropped by their stall, entered the bottle tombola, took part in the ladybird competition or bought a ladybird cupcake.

“The ladybird mascot would also like to thank the kind stall-holder who supplied the ice-cubes to help keep her cool.”

The event raised money for local charities and good causes.

Pestalozzi raised £363.32 with all donations going to support Pestalozzi students to fund their new academic journeys.
