OAK FAIL TO CAUSE ANOTHER CUP UPSET
WITH the manager John Rapps on his holiday, and being thumped the week before, the omens were not looking good for Worthing United when they visited Division Two outfit Mile Oak at the Rec on Saturday.
Oak had overcome United's fellow Division 1 counterparts, Chichester, in the John O'Hara Cup last Tuesday in a penalty shoot-out.
But, the potential banana skin was overcome with a polished and effective United performance.
