Rimmer on form for Bexhill

A HAT-TRICK from Sam Rimmer steered Bexhill United to a comfortable 3-0 win at home to Uckfield Town on Saturday.

The forward opened the scoring after only six minutes with a crisp finish that flew in off the post.

The home side were awarded a penalty just before the half hour mark after the Uckfield keeper pushed Rimmer in the back at a corner. Rimmer took the penalty himself and made no mistake from 12 yards.

He completed the scoring 20 minutes from time after being put clear by Benjie Symes' long pass out of defence.

Sidley United's Sussex Division One match away to Littlehampton Town was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
