Top first prize for top event

Organisers of the annual Reverdy Horse Feeds-sponsored Brightling Park International Horse Trials have announced that entries for its BE90, BE100, CIC*, N and CIC** classes open today (Friday).

Now in its 28th year, the hugely popular event in the picturesque village will be held on Saturday July 12 and Sunday July 13.

The two-day event regularly attracts around 400 entries from all over the world, including renowned Olympians Zara Phillips, Pippa Funnell and Mark Todd.

Event organiser Gardie Grissell said: “Thanks to sponsorship from Amlin Plus, this year we are able to offer riders a sizeable prize fund. The CIC2* winner will receive a staggering £2,500!

“The event always attracts top riders from all over the world – this year is set to be bigger than ever before as riders chase the big cash prize!”
