West Hove comfortably progress

WEST HOVE Golf Club dominated from start to finish to eliminate Chartham Park from East Grinstead 11-1 in the Davies & Tate Matchplay Championships first round on Saturday.

The 4-0 foursomes wipeout was a foretaste of what was to come.

Long hitting Tom Coulson took out Patrick Davey 9&8 while Steve Nielsen, Neville Hudson and 16-year-old Lewis Jackson all had wins of seven holes, while Chris Lind got home by 6&4 together with Mark Gully.
