WICK'S CUP DREAMS ENDED BY BROWNE
TWO GOALS each from Worthing strikers Stafford Browne and Sam Francis ensured Wick would cause no FA Cup upset at Crabtree Park on Saturday.
Browne's second goal on 40 minutes was a beautifully struck 25-yard free kick which curled into the top corner and, from then on, there was no way back for County League Wick.
And Browne had opened the scoring on 22 minutes for the Ryman League Premier Division side. Sam Francis' shot from Roy Pook's cross was blocked by Dave Sharman but the ball fell to Browne who fired home, in off a post, from six yards.
