WICK'S WINNING RUN ENDS
WICK Football Club's four-game winning run ground to a halt at Eastbourne Town on Saturday.
They were well beaten by a Town side, high in confidence after winning at Ringmer the previous week and losing only to a last-minute goal in the Sussex Senior Cup against Lewes '” the same side who knocked Wick out.
Despite being out-played for much of the first half, a rare mistake by Wick keeper Tom Rand gave Eastbourne the lead on the stroke of half-time.
