Gruffalo author book signing

A BEST-selling children's author is to visits Lewes.

Julia Donaldson, author of The Gruffalo, will take part in a rare public book signing at Bags of Books on Wednesday (September 19).

The Gruffalo, which is illustrated by Donaldson's long-time collaborator Axel Scheffer, has sold almost 2 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 30 languages.

The author will be in Lewes to promote her new book Tiddler, which is again illustrated by Axel Scheffer and tells the tale of a small fish who likes to tell big tales.

Families are invited to bring in their old Donaldson and Scheffer books to sign and buy copies of Tiddler, from 4 -5 pm.
